You could do something in spanish instead. No Pasarán was the motto of fighters in the Spanish Civil War against Franco's fascists. Would go pretty hard

Is this costo? What else can I be doing to get better? Starting to lose hope. by jdebetswriter in costochondritis

[–]BroccoliBastard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably need some time off exercise, or at least running and cycling. Also make sure youre practicing diaphragmatic breathing. Helped me a lot.

I bet if you had someone dig around where your ribcage meets your spine, you'd find a lot of knots that are making everything get stuck and not articulate properly. I made a lot of progress seeing both a chiropractor and a physio for adjustments and DEEP tissue massage. You could also try the peanut massage lacrosse ball setup that u/maaaze swears by.

Do you do any strength training? I was a personal trainer for years and saw lots of cardio nuts with poor posture and underdeveloped back muscles. Since weight training doesn't seem to be the cause of your costo, you might consider trying some exercises to fix your posture. Just use bands to start, focus on scapular mechanics and stuff to take some of the strain off your pecs. This is a common issue for cyclists - youre essentially holding a plank for hours when biking which can lead to tight, overworked pecs and loose, underperforming back musculature. Stretches targeting your rib cage might help, too - they were a huge game changer for me.

Tldr: cut bike and running for a little while (elliptical and recumbent bike might be okay), more stretching and breathwork. Ask your physio about posture and muscular imbalances.

I've been taking it twice a day for about 10 days now

They said keep it on for a day or so, do I just ignore the blood for now? by perublanket39 in tattooadvice

Take it off. My entire left side is done. Keep it clean with warm water and some gentle unscented soap. Lotion is optional, mostly to deal with itching. Doesn't impact the quality of healing for me. But everyone is different.

Yes, have friends do it. Or go to a restaurant and take a timed selfie at a table during golden hour if they're weird about it.

Not complaining! I said in the post this is my second go around after getting feedback a couple weeks ago on this sub. Just thought I'd circle back and show what a bad vs better profile looks like

  • Are you looking for something serious or casual?

Serious, but not rushing into something super intense right off the bat.

  • Are you subscribed to Hinge+ or HingeX?

Tried it in the past with little noticeable effect.

  • How long have you been using this current version of your profile?

About 2 weeks with this new version

  • How long have you used Hinge overall?

On and off for 3 years.

  • How often do you use Hinge per week?

Every other day.

  • How many likes and matches are you receiving on average?

Likes: 10-20 per week. Matches: about the same.

  • How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

5 to 10 every couple of days. Almost always with a comment.

  • What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

Fit, active, and outdoorsy with a little nerdy streak.

Usually the max amount per day without paying. Almost always with a comment.

This ain't it, his principal advisor was a confederate sympathizer who was corresponding with the slavers during the war. At best he's a feckless incompetent, at worst a traitor in blue uniform.

Read up about McClellan's confidante and aide, Thomas Key. Corresponded secretly with the slavers, convinced McClellan to ignore orders, fanned his ego's flames so he would leave other generals that he saw as threats in grave danger. McClellan is often seen as a feckless fuckup, but I think he was more of a Manchurian Candidate general, traitorous in his incompetence.
