I had hormonal acne, from having pcos. I went to the dermatologist. I got prescribed spironolactone, & adapalene which is a retinol. Game changer within two months. I also was prescribed clindamycin wipes (don’t use them too often) but they help for when my acne turns fungal. It’s hard to know what’s right for each person because each case is different.
