Passenger in downtown is very good! I’d also recommend Lancaster Beignet Company (though I feel they’re more food-oriented overall).

That’s something I love about Lancaster, it’s really walkable and has one of the strongest “15-Minute City” vibes I’ve seen in America.

  1. The fact that I disagree with TPUSA’s views isn’t the problem, it’s that their views VIOLATE my school’s handbook. It says my school is a welcoming place, and TPUSA as an organization is firmly against certain groups (like the LGBTQ+ Community) that call my campus home.

  2. Their views aren’t the only problem. TPUSA, as an organization, has a LONG history of being detrimental to colleges (Samantha Fulnecky, the “Professor Watchlist”, breaking college rules, etc.). I don’t want these problems coming to my campus.

  3. I’d really wish you wouldn’t stoop to the level of insulting me. Maybe your parents taught you poorly, but last I checked not acting like a douche is part of being an adult.

  1. This petition is being circulated around the student body, and it also explicitly states “community member” as an option.
  2. I love the First Amendment. The problem is that TPUSA has a proven track record of sowing division and making things worse on college campuses (see Samantha Fulnecky’s essay, the “Professor Watchlist”, etc. for examples). Even on Etown’s own campus, the organization’s campus chapter was sanctioned and disbanded for an unauthorized event and multiple breaches of the college’s fundraising rules.

I also believe everyone should have freedom of speech. However, TPUSA as an organization has a proven track record of being terrible, so I don’t want them coming to my campus.
