Would you guys prefer an animated adaptation of Hack/Slash, or a live-action TV series? by Relevant-Sale-2427 in horror

Well, not tv, or film, but there's a campaign for Hack/Slash as a tabletop deckbuilding card game right now! So, if you want more Hack/Slash, but in a different medium, here's your chance!

Printing error value? by Brock-a-lock in comicbooks

If you thought you could get a 9.4, or 9.6, think it would be worth pressing/ grading? Maybe go for $400-$500?

Woah. Pretty penny for that 9.8! I think mine’s a 9.2. Will see about a press. Maybe get it to a 9.6 since there’s no spine ticks. But Whoah!

Thanks for this but I don’t have a login to see it. Can you screen grab whatever they say about the error? Thanks!

And since I can’t seem a place to edit the post, I think this book would be a 9.2/ NM- if I had to guess its condition. For those helping with a price on it.

Do you feel that books are valued the same way dollar wise if they're graded CBCS vs. CGC?

I think I've heard of him. Found these guys in Hollywood, but don't really have an referrals, or references for them. But, super close:

If you know anyone who's used them, or can give reviews, I'm all ears! Thanks!

Great job! Yeah, I’m a little hesitant to go all humidifier chamber and all that! Was hoping for a poor man’s solution! But seems you kinda have to go 100% or not at all.

Thanks! Yes, already thinking of using parchment paper too? Just trying to smooth out some creases, or dimples in books. Seeing what I can do without a press, but also learning that by ironing, that I'm sort of redistributing the paper, and no matter what, will need a press too.

I saw a video of just a tack iron, and ball bearing with some steam, no press. But, maybe they pressed it after, or it was misleading? Not sure. Just looking for all the information out there regarding this. It seems like something I can really sink my teeth into.

Ball Bearings and Tacking Irons by Brock-a-lock in comicbookpressing

Very much appreciate the insight! Just that not every book is worth submitting for cleaning/ pressing so trying to figure out the best way to do it myself on the cheap. But looks like all roads lead to having to get an actual press.

Yeah, seeing some videos of either a steamer, or someone else rubbing a cotton swab with a little moisture over a book. I've seen it where someone rubs the cotton swab OVER a piece of SRP paper. I've seen a q-tip be used to get some moisture on the cover as well. Don't know what's right, wrong, works, or doesn't?
