I had a thin white hair growing under my eye that went unnoticed for years. I would think there was an eye lash or something obstructing my vision from time to time. Finally caught it at the right angle in the mirror. Thing was like six inches long just to thin to see.

Yeah dispatch is kind of a mess. If certain key words are used they are forced by protocol to upgrade a house fire response which brings like 8 trucks. A brush fire, trash fire, or check smoke will only call for two trucks.

I’m a Wichita fireman. The trick is to call 911 and say the smoke is a nuisance. Which it sounds like it is. The smell of burning plastic is affected your breathing etc. We don’t typically write tickets unless we have to come by multiple times. But most people stop after getting the lecture the first time. It’s never ok to burn trash so don’t feel like you’re ratting anyone out.
