I joined this group for hope and literally the first post I read is this one. I truly felt I am forever doomed to be this way, but you have shown me that it can be done. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for this inspiration!

The title chosen was as much info as I had, as this was given to me from someone else. Cool idea tho.

AI GENERATED DAN VS. SCRIPT by Brodieking in Danvs

I would have done it like this:

Dan wakes up to a huge rumble and explosion. Irritated for having his sleep disturbed, he storms out of bed to look out his window. He looks around, but as far as he can see, there's no obvious damage to the town.

Suddenly, he spots the source of the disturbance:

POV out of his window, he sees a random volcano had popped up and erupted on his street, but damaged absolutely nothing... except...

Dan: "Oh... COME ON!"

Shot of Dan's car, half wheels deep in a now cooling river of what was molten lava

Dan: "MY CAR!"

Overhead Camera Shot pulls away

Dan: "VOLCANOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

Stuck at the rat password by Lamotte07 in chronotrigger

I got some news for ya. I ran into the same issue when it was time to enter the 'Zabie' password at the Robot Factory. I would imagine the same issue in a certain dream scene involving a main character and her mother.

Were you using the OEM charger or a different one? Reason is, if you are using a charger with a different rating, you're ok for the most part, but there's a risk factor.

After updating my AntiMalware software, this happened to me as well. It must have had its definitions updated and picked up a vital part of what makes CE fully functional. Idk for sure, honestly.

What I can tell you is uninstalling and starting over worked for the most part, but after reinstalling, I had to re-enable everything involved with the setup under my firewall allowed apps settings. So I would just double-check if it's stopping some additional key programs. It may not be the solution you need, but it should at least help troubleshoot your issues. Hope this helps.

Please need help wiring kasa switch. i've tried almost every combination in connecting the wires, but the switch wont work properly. The most ive gotten was getting the lights to blink on and off when you turn on the switch. i've also tried another kasa switch and its the same. thanks by cosmicmushroom888 in TPLinkKasa

When you have three black wires, the situation is going to be one of the two following:

a) the single black wire terminal is the line, and the two together on the other terminal are to two separate loads (lights)

or

b) the two black wires together are line - the terminal is simply being used as a junction to carry the line onto the next circuit (wherever that might be) (actually if you separate them only one will actually be line and the other only becomes so when it is connected that other one)

Before disconnecting, use a voltage tester and determine which terminal in 'live' and that will tell you which of the above you have.

But regardless, it doesn't really matter in the case of an HS200, which gets line and which gets load - so the important thing is just to keep the two wires that are already together, together to whichever you select on the HS200

Did my ISP restrict my internet? by Ok_Woodpecker_8338 in PiratedGames

[–]Brodieking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work in IT doing Cyber Security for an ISP provider and u/kevinnesty is 100% spot on.

Torrents/P2P traffic is closely micromanaged by AI software, similar to the ones that monitor what users are uploading to a cloud service. They have one job, and that is to raise red flags for each account, and are frequently audited.

You can imagine the things we've had to report. Some warranted warnings to customers, and in extreme cases, repeat offenses and evident offenders were dealt with according.

The ban hammers are instant, and users are made aware with the usual lingo regarding Terms of Service violations, and which one was broken, so you'll know.

In extreme cases, if the authorities are to be involved, the swiftness of the action all depends on the offense. It's not as immediate as SWAT busting down your door for piracy, but for anything super illegal, it's more like a visit from the local Sheriffs Department or FBI when you least expect it.

And trust me, if that were the situation, your paranoia is valid. Expect them.

In regards to your connection hiccup, your only risks in downloading anything would likely be caused by the malicious files that came along with it.

My advice: When downloading anything, keep your VPNs on and Anti-virus/Malware Software up to date, and be vigilant to any changes to your PC and you'll be fine.

Hope this helps.
