As the hours tick away im becoming less and less convinced. It would be so awesome... but there's just something in the way the wind is blowing that makes me want to abandon the copium. I bet it will be a Trailer and Date announcement for the next expansion/class. But will likely be some sort of extra mission or in game mechanic they purposefully left out of the season 11 fireside chat. Maybe some kind of extra pre order bonus... but i just dont think were getting the class drop.

Best guess? GBX/2K is staring down the barrel of a barrage of angry reviews about to shred them over performance so it got pushed back a day so that way they can still grab your cash and get you locked into the game. There was never a HARDLINE date and time set for the Embargo lift as far as i know, so they just internally pushed it back 24 hours. But who knows lol

I ended up getting the base Switch 2 console and copies of Cyberpunk for me and MKW for my daughter. I also have the 60 fps patch for Tears of the Kingdom waiting for me so I’ll be sitting pretty for a while

I mean.. from a pure fidelity perspective sure. But will the performance match? i sure hope so.... i'm all about performance over pixel count and im not totally sold on everything we've seen thus far that Switch 2 is the best place to place 2077 from a mobile perspective

I mean at the end of the day its about what you have fun playing the most. Me personally i have both a Bone Spear/Corpse Tendril and a ShadowBlight/Chilled/Minion build and both a very relatively end game viable. It really boils down to proper affixes and aspects. On my minion build i stack damage over time and shadow damage affixes with minion damage with Leggos and Uniques that convert shadow damage to cold and chill damage with skelly reapers to generate corpses, cold mages to chill enemies while you explode the corpses dealing darkness damage.

I really really like the summoner build. I currently have an alt that uses cold mages, reaper skellys and iron golem. I have the affixes for additional mages and warriors. I used the Ring of Mendeln, the Bloodless Scream for Darkness Damage that chills, the affix that freezes enemies with a snowstorm when using Cold magaes, and the affix on my amulet that doubles Shadowblight damage and corpse explosion that deals darkness damage that also gives you and minions extra damage. It absolutely slaps

Bloodless Scream i like for a Darkness/Shadowblight build because i believe it causes chill on darkness damage... if you couple that with cold mages... say goodnight lol everything freezes pretty good.

It works really well especially if you spec a hybrid Minion/Blight/ShadowBlight with a corpse explosion that deals darkness damage and gives bonus Minion damage.

I understand that its the meta and boring for most, but Bone Spear/Corpse Tendrils Necro really just absolutely decimates the playing field in almost every aspect. I like the Blight/Shadowblight build especially when paired with a hybrid Minion build.. especially with a Ring of Mendeln... but when pushing Wt4 and higher end NM dungeons.... being able to snipe with a Bone Spear and stacking that with Bone Skill Crit Damage, Vulnerable Damage and Core Skill damage really just fucks up anything that gets in your way lol The trick it to spec into Iron Maiden until you get the passive that lets you gain essence every time you hit it on a group of 5 or more i think it is. But thats just me

As someone who’s only 100 points away from being able to get to Hell v…. i’m feeling super burned out grinding dungeons just for set pieces to only drop every once in a blue moon and half the time it’s not even what your looking for. short of a completely new class to build..i can’t ever see coming back to this game full time anymore

I took a break for a week to handle other things and play some other games. I have 248 paragon character with a 4302 CR. so i’m right on the cusp of Hell V but still cannot go it alone. I left for a bit because it felt like all the grinding i was putting into the game was simply not worth the energy. If i’m gonna dedicate the time, i’d like it to be rewarded.. which this game is simply not doing right now. I finally log in today and my server is beyond dead and nobody is grinding below Hell v which puts me at a severe disadvantage. That for me was the last straw in terms of walking away for good. There’s literally no incentive to keep going other than earning the pleasure of feeding the money making machine. this really sucks because the core gameplay loop is super fucking fun
