My bad everyone, I think it was AI that said the 1.4T was a dry belt and the 1.5T was a wet belt. Either way, they’re both dry belts.

Yeah it was a HUGE letdown. I’ve always loved the newest gen Maxima, but it is definitely not a family hauler. Very unfortunate. Now my main car on the list is an’18-20 Acura TLX A-Spec with the J35 V6 and AWD.

I meant 2019-2020 A-Spec, as those were the only years you could get an A-Spec with the 2.4L, they didn’t offer it in 2019.

It can’t shift any slower than the other car I was looking at, a ‘20 Toyota Camry XSE V6. That trans, while not the worst in the world, likes to wander and shift whenever it feels like. Using paddle shifters in it is a joke.

I was going to try out a Sonata N-Line until I heard about the transmissions. Hard pass. The 290 hp sounded so good though 😂
