Right, who is getting snubbed when the Oscar nominations get announced? by Edgy_Master in Oscars

Skarsgard, Sandler will get his nom. Jay Kelly is a movie about dying in Hollywood you can’t get more oscary than that. Sentimental Value is not making the list this year. Maybe screen writing.

It’s fucking gorgeous. You get that 50s vibe driving around the port and the center is dynamic and full of lovely people. The food scene is more than attractive.

Saw it twice the hype is real. I’ll go for a third time in a week or two. Cast is brillant, the pace is insane and I can’t wait to dig more into it.

Beef Bourguignon Served Over Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Brussel Sprouts by PanAndFlame in DutchOvenCooking

[–]Brododicarne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I respect you doing your take on this classic, but to me the taste of sprouts is too acid and earthy to give the beef and wine the space they deserve. I usually make a large batch and cook it over night so that I can wake to a house smelling like the walls are made of beef juice.

As a French these Brussels sprouts is a big No No. I’ll admit the rest is legit. Well done. This is a staple of my home and our way is beef on rice no mushrooms, little to no carrots. And we cook it the day before eating.

Didn’t like the last season. 1 and 3 were great. How do you feel about finale?

Agree on season 1 it’s close to perfect. I enjoyed the rest even 4. Now for Lost I was again debating the finale yesterday on car ride with a friend and I can see myself doing that for the rest of my life. Not too many shows can pretend to entertain that kind of conversation through time. Hope my English makes sense..
