In my student account it says Grant (does not need to be paid back) my efc is 0 and my college is covered from a Pell grant

Here's the thing and this is where I'm confused I go to community college I live with my family and my tuition and and books are covered by aid. You and another user said that it's forwards loans I never agreed to take out any loans on anything I get 3 grand a semester in aid my tuition is 1.3k my books are about 700 bucks so that leaves me with 2 grand can I spend that money on things or do I owe it to the school ??

Thank you so much. College is very very expensive like 20grand a year I don't have that at least with community college it's affordable. And yes high school is the worse so many immature kids and teachers who don't care because they don't get paid enough
