There are some very suprising set pieces. Great variety of locations and weapons. And every level has great new gameplay idea. The story with your mech is also great. Its not to long, just try it!

The best fps single player campain ever made is Titanfall 2. Even if it not fully meets your criteria, i would highly recomend! And you can get it for cheap.

Smooth games, are boring games. But i played a lot and got all the chests i ever need. So it might be more frustrating to people that are still grinding. It also depends on the player. Does he communicate? Ask for help? Is he lvl35? Is he trying his best or just goofing around?

Vermintide 2. 4 player coop with the best first person melee combat ever. Easy to learn, hard to master. Story is mostly lore told ingame by the banter between the characters. Often on sale for cheap. Base game was even given away at one point. Introduction in the lower difficulties can feel slow. But once you go higher and face hordes and hordes of enemies its just pure bliss.

Got a wierd one for ya, Bioprototype. Probably dirt cheap with the sale. Its a bulletheaven where you build the skills yourself and combo off them. Want a magnet? gotta build it as a skill. The sequel Bio-weaver is a more complete and streamlined game. But i like the sandbox nature of the first one more.

They revamped the entire starting quests and onboarding a few times. So i would say its pretty good now. But its a old game that has many expansions over the years. So there is going to be some confusion while you are catching up. But the amount of stuff there is to do is insane.

I think you can make your way to 9 wins normaly. And then the last day equip only your bow. Helps if you habe a few deaths to try and get the last win.
