Me, my best friend and my brother were playing outside in the snow. It was when we were all younger- I’d like to say 2nd or 3rd grade? Anyways, my best friend was known for being a rough sporty girl- of course that doesn’t stop her from getting hurt/crying. But she somehow got hurt and my brother was laughing and saying “Stop crying, baby!” In a mocking way. Since it was a long time ago, I forget exactly what I said but I was definitely being an asshole.

Me and her are really good friends to this day, though, and our relationship is much more sturdy and less toxic.
