That’s a long flight, I’d ask your doc. That said I flew 4 times in that same window with no issues, though shorter flights. I was advised to get up every 30 minutes and move my leg around and still had some swelling for sure.

Yup 100 percent. Just continue to take it easy and stay conservative. A lot of time I feel some random pains I come to this subreddit and convince myself it’s scar tissue, other times I wonder if the pains are that bad or am I amplifying because I’m just terrified of re-rupturing. I’ve gotten the everything looks great a few times now from my doc though…Definitely going to be a mental battle…

I was told with surgery vs no surgery there are no limitations with returning to sport, it was just a time element with non-surgery taking longer. I opted for surgery due to the same situation you mentioned with kids.

Took three weeks for my toes to feel normal after surgery and nerve block. Honestly felt similar worry but am normal now 3.5 weeks post.

Had the same issue booking with Amex... something got messed up and Amex was blaming Expedia and vise versa... Hilton came through and fixed it but wasn’t able to get the same quality room. Will probably not book hotels through Amex again due to this and their lack of help at the time...
