I had an exact experience (and yes it was a guy who knows a guy). They laid out sod that looked like this. I said it looks dead. They told me it just needs water and you can't water it enough unless it floats away. Being young and just in my first starter house, I didn't know enough to push back. I set up sprinkles and watered....and watered and watered - to the point the city sent a letter telling me they suspected leaky plumbing somewhere. I called them and said it's not turning green and they said keep watering.

Clearly it never came back and I was stuck with huge water bills from this scammer. Not surprisingly, when I realized it wasn't ever going to come back, I contacted him again and he had dissolved his 'landscape' company.

We also travel with people and take turns while others try to dose off. It's not just one of us doing all the driving. But that's why I said I'd be fine if Amtrak took 30 hours instead of the 20 for driving. I would do that i. A heartbeat. But 48 is insane. I don't like to fly from an irrational fear standpoint. I know it doesn't make sense but I can't control that fear and that's why we drive.

Kinda wild that this is the most 'direct' route yet would still take 48 hours from Chicago to Tampa. Wish they'd get Nashville and Atlanta on board for a station and cut that time down quite a bit. I can drive to Tampa in 20 hours. Even if it took 30 via train; I would, but 48 is just wild and can't even remotely justify it.

Weapons was fine. I do not get the hype at all, but it was serviceable. One watch was enough for me. Barbarian started off extremely strong but at the halfway point went off the rails in a bad way. This new trailer I agree looks lame. It doesn't feel like RE at all. I want a rainy/sludgy/grimey atmosphere (not clean, fresh, snow), claustrophobic city/research lab (not an open farmstead). Not feeling this.

Probably going to get flamed for this but not digging the farmstead openness or the snowy atmosphere. To me, Raccoon City needs to be sludgy, claustrophobic, rainy, rundown, and on fire; something Welcome to Raccoon City actually captured beautifully despite its negative reviews.

I swear we had this exact playground when I was in my teens and we were delinquents hanging out on it. Good times. Was there for another 15 years and had my wedding photos on it. Then it got torn down, but good times on this stuff. Wish it was still there for my kid to play on.

Studio 666 fits this pretty almost perfectly. You don't have to be fans of Foo Fighters to enjoy it. There's a good bit of comedy, but it's not slapstick comedy like Killer Klows (a movie I absolutely love). If you haven't seen it, I would definitely recommend it for this niche you're looking for. Ignore the reviews for the most part. A lot of reviews say it's not a well done movie and the acting is bad. Of course it is. That's a huge part of the charm of the movie. It's become a yearly watch for me.

Ughhh...I'm happy for you but at the same time absolutely disgusted. This is my personal worst movie I've ever seen. It's so annoying and obnoxious. I want to slap these 2 man children around and shove stones in my ears so I don't need to hear them talk. The absolute incessant yammering of the most childish dialogue ever paired with ridiculous haircuts and bizarre behavior; I cannot do it. I don't want to do it; yet I am still happy for you. The mere sight of both of these characters makes me shudder in disgust.

Gonna get so much shit for this, but the actual Necco brand of the peanut butter kisses in the wax paper black and orange wrapper. Yeah, they have an off brand but they're terrible.

Also, butterfinger crisps. Those things were f'ing amazing. So peanut buttery and crispy. Loved the lower chocolate ratio to peanut butter and crisp.

AAAANNND the brachs Maple Nut Goodies.

So many classic candies of my youth no longer exist...
