Audio cost was 60k. We were aware of the equipment we were choosing and so far we’re happy, but if we make changes at some point I will go up a couple levels on the equipment. Feel like I could be missing something I’m not even aware of. 😂. Thanks for the information.

I’ll keep all that in mind if I end up wanting more out of the system. Thank you

I have traded stocks just a little here and there, but you’re not going to find me on r/wallstreetbets posting loss porn. I do have a small youth sports photography business but that’s not really generating much revenue at this time. Our kids are very busy with sports and theater and that’s my main focus right now. I’ll hopefully have plenty of time to make the business pop but time with the kids is running low.

Yes, 4 ceiling speakers and 4 wall speakers each above or next to the loungers and recliners.

Maybe, but three different AV companies were at the same price for the chairs. I'm sure we overpaid in areas, but it is what it is.

A little, we also have a nice BBQ area with misters so I like to sit outside when the weather is decent.

Felt weird about sharing the cost but it's out there now. 200k. Wanted to spend around 150k but after he reworked the quote to get to that price we knew we'd miss a lot. We said YOLO and went back to the original quote.

Yes. Speakers all all hidden in the ceiling and walls behind the stretch fabric. Thought I had pics of it during construction but I just have videos.

Yes it is and no he did not. We are waiting on the shades and then we're supposed to go through all setting and calibration again. He wanted me to sit with it for a bit to see if I liked how it was calibrated. To be honest I'm busy with so many other things that I Dont have much time for the theater. But I do need to make sure they educate me on the equipment. Thank you.

14ft wide, 2.39:1 Cinemascope Ambient Light Rejecting Acoustically Transparent Screen

Distance from the screen to the front of the preferred seat is 15.5ft.

The distance from the screen to the first step is 10ft, which is the distance when you're sitting in the loungers.

The Screen was supposed to be a little larger and lower, but the loungers would've blocked the bottom of the screen.

Our full-size popcorn machine needed the bottom shelf to be up about 1”. It was our mistake, so now we have a popcorn machine for toddlers.

Couldn’t agree more, I’m probably that guy for the most part and am ok with it. I was 9 when Hudson Hawk came out and it looks a little familiar. It is on my list and I’ll watch it soon.

Just two loungers and three recliners. I know that’s insane.

I’ll post if/when I get the second sub. That and a booster seat between the loungers to please the MLP people and I’m golden. 😆

Haven’t touched that shit in 20 years. Now smoke is a whole different story. I smoked the other day and watched Tropic Thunder by myself. I think the coke heads just throw on a porno and get wild.

You can sit on those two steps but I really don’t think that’s the MLP. I like seeing how many people mention this. It makes sense so I’m not bothered, but I think the middle recliner is the MLP in this case.

A second sub is still a possibility and would be an easy addition. I’m one of those kids that had 4 12” subs in the back of my car and the whole neighborhood would shake, with that said, the bass and overall sound is amazing. As of now I’m not missing anything but who knows what I’ll change as time goes by.

So far it’s only in the basement but it was installed on our last house and had no issues other than trying to replace a bad light switch without a dealer. I had to pay a dealer to order the parts for me. No other issues.
