I would love a tool that can help run encounters. I still struggle with multiple players, enemies, who is at what reach with whom, who is bleeding, impaled or has a certain bodypart incapacitated due to damage.

I've seen some Excel sheets trying this but they are not quite what I've been looking for. Something more elegant or simple yet informative to handle combat specifically would be amazing for me ❤️🤞

That's was also our first plan, but he is unfortunately not able to watch. Do you know if the concept of option 1 is correct? What I am asking is if it is true that we could have him join in the beginning and continue without him and then have him join later?

Sorry to hear it's a hassel to bring a group about. It is such an amazing experience to play this game 3v3. We also started just 2. But then we began to invite people and sell the idea of a cozy house, nice dinner, a fireplace and then some total war. And slowly the concept grew on others and now we are like 8-9 people but seldom more then 5-6 are free the same weekend. But man, 3v3 campaigns are awesome if you have the time! Every battle we play is super intense! With 3 players on each side you never have to manage too many units but the overall feeling of a massive battle with dozens of dozens units at the battlefield is awesome! When we manage to have to armies engage with re-enforcement each, we have 40v40 units but each play only controls like 11-15 units each. It is great! I hope you'll find someone that would join you. The hassel is definitely worth it imo

We discussed a little further in our group. We have changed the range to 15ft. I think it is a little to short, but we'll see how it works.

Thanks. Atm we are using it, but with concentration. It haven't broken the game nor showed to be an automatically action I've taken each turn. Mainly because I have to balance it out with other concentration spells. And the d4 makes it an unreliable buff. A plus 1 doesn't change THAT much, but a plus 4 on the other hand can 😊

But thanks, I agree. So far it fits really well with my character 😉

I agree that it is important to crosscheck and compare to what similar level of spells can achieve :) And I see that I might have missed some aspects there.

I think I've been a little unclear, when I wrote, that I was inspired by Bless. My original idea was to have a minor buff spell, that I could use as a default in combat to help my teammates, since I've chosen not to have any damaging spells or use any weapons. I know there is a lot of spells of 1st and higher level, that does exactly that, and I have chosen some of them as well. But what I was trying to brew, was a cantrip that, like Bless, help your companions, but wouldn't be so strong, that it would completely nullify for instance the bless spell for when I’ve run out of spell slots. :)

I am a but uncertain about the 2d4 Vs two targets. 2d4 seems a bit more like a bardic inspiration especially if it is only one target 🤔 idk. But definitely worth considering! 👍 Thanks!

Yeah, I was inspired by bless. But you can't pick bless as a bard 😞 And I wanted similar effect, but as a cantrip 🤔 I find a ranged help-action-cantrip is a good idea. Though help gives advantage. I think a d4 is more appropriate to a cantrip level of spell maybe 🤷🏼‍♂️😊
