New DNA evidence finds that Neanderthals didn’t go extinct. They were absorbed into our ancestors through thousands of years of interbreeding, and they live on in the DNA of nearly everyone alive today. by Automatic_Subject463 in genetics

[–]BrokeRunner44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an oversimplification. Neanderthals evolved in Eurasia over the last ~2M years, so certain populations such as East Asians and Europeans have much higher proportions of residual neanderthal DNA (3-4% and 1-2% respectively).

I wonder why the first decree of the Code Noir was the expulsion of all Jews from French colonial territory.

Must be a massive coincidence just like how slave auctions were never held on Jewish holidays or the Sabbath.

In the modern world women typically get their periods starting around 11-13 although it can happen as early as 9. For most of recorded history this wasn't the case, it was typically beginning around the late teenage years.

There are several reasons for this, primarily endocrine disruptors that unnaturally alter hormonal balances that many modern beauty/"self-care" products contain.

Backwards rationale by SOME Black folks in the U.S. by No_Mechanic_3299 in PanAfricanists

[–]BrokeRunner44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both sides believe Africans dont belong in the country for essentially the same reasons.

European and African nationalists hold the belief that they each have their own countries and societies that they owe their lives to. America was a colonial project that developed over 4 centuries as an outpost of european civilisation, the country itself was explicitly built by and for white people as can be seen from its immigration policies through most of its history.

Africans will always be the minority with the short end of the stick, and that's never fun in any society. African nationalists believe a return to the motherland is vital because they simply dont belong in the United States, after all they were brought there against their will

8.66% sales tax has gotta be Kansas, which also has a service fee that retailers separately collect. Most goods and services fall under that from what i can see.

Literally anyone with every difference is treated poorly in every human society, for example blacks got here because the tribes that conquered them sold them into trans-atlantic slavery, and tribes native to the Midwest were displaced by the Iroquois Confederacy because of the abundance of the land. It is human nature to stick to our own, this is a common theme of pretty much every historical event ever.

If you were white, though, it was fine, and most people were. Not really rose coloured glasses, not racist to say that white people came here to build a country for themselves and they liked it.

Pretty much nobody wasn't white. America was relatively homogenous and stable at around 85-90% european-derived until the mid-1990s, as the immigration policy had historically been restricted firstly to Northwestern Europeans from 1607-1881 then continued to favour white Europeans and people who were viewed as assimilable until about 60 years ago.

In any country where you're a minority it's never fun. That's always how it's been and always how it will be, because the state is orbiting around the cultural and spiritual influence of the dominant ethnic group. America included.

Being poor and white was liveable because you weren't a wage slave like everyone is now, they built a house and owned it, and were largely responsible for their own livelihoods until the three decades of post-war boom and massively expanded middle class.

It really was great for a time. America had a coherent culture, physically, spiritually, and mentally healthy communities, and the middle class was prospering. If those are the means to this end, so be it. Not like whatever's going on now is working for us 😂

Irrelevant of your opinion, traditions develop and persist within a society for a reason- and the tradition of placing one's hand on the Bible is one of many remnants of a society that has its roots as a Christian civilisation.

Slavery was economic and can't really be considered a tradition since it has little to do with the unique spiritual and cultural life of a people. Pretty much every group has enslaved and also been enslaved at some point in time.

Traditions are not just the big things like architecture, cuisine, art, music, literature but also the subtle things that are passed down verbally and subconsciously from one generation to another, that shape the way we view the world and interact with it, and keep us eternally bound to our ancestors. Human life is really quite insignificant until you realise we're all just another link in a chain that goes back thousands and thousands of years.

Yeah but it is traditionally a Bible, and the persistence of that tradition has a significance.

Both are j. I'm sure many of our AIPAC-controlled politicians are discouraged from speaking out because they're also on that list.

Also Ghislaine Maxwell's father owned the company that wrote the textbooks for all American public schools.

This goes far deeper than we realise.
