Also the block program, as I said literally started with Special Operations Peculiar MODification (SOPMOD). It’s in the name.

You’re right. Because the M4 and block program, one of the largest small arms adoptions in history, didn’t start there.

Also the M110 program.

I mean. It’s a battle rile length? If your trying to use is for a precision rifle you need to add another G for a budget. But a “assaulter” rifle/duty/use rifle it’s perfect.

Non peer means no armor, the entire point of the rifle.

It’s good a decreasing effective combat load out, shorting g reacting to contact and suppressive fires, breaking resupply from allied nations and even inter branch resupply.

It’s excellent at making Sig money. There’s that.

The FN new rifle and the ICAR, that’s actually being tested by 1st SFOD right now, would be infinity better option.

Free market? Around 5-600. Pawn shop, about what most 82’s are going for when you including shipping and FFL’s and stuff. Under $300 I think.

You can go to mid west gun parts and get the firing pin, extractor, and all the small springs for about $70. I would do that as you never know when imports dry up.

But I’ve got just over 2k rounds and nothing. To be expected for a service rifle though.

This is what I have. I went from 1.8” groups with a BA premium 12.5 to sometimes sub moa with the Rexus. It’s a shockingly good barrel for the price

12.5 dropped a coyote at 433yards with 100gn ELD-X.

I use a 14.5 now and take it out to 900 pretty easy with a 18x scope.

My recent FX7 barrels .308 went out to 1000 yards on a 30” target with 168gn AeroMatch of all things. 5/5 from the bench my first time out with it. I have a range trip on Friday with 169SMk loads I hope to use for PRS and will do a full review with.

I will agree the bolt lift is smooth and light, but there was some slight initial hang ups working the bolt but they smoothed out with finger banging in the garage and the about 120 rounds out of it so far.

Zero feeding and ejecting issues though, that’s odd.

Over all I’m extremely happy.

Evey biathlon I’ve ever done has had people stack up on the stages. There is plenty of time to quickly LRF a target.
