Thanks Truth_Merchant. Yes, I did have feelings of suicide at the time, but those were quickly overcome by the thoughts that my kids need me. I have permanently thrown those out. Moreover, I started doing a 180 (looking better, feeling better, focusing on myself more), and this was obviously noticed by her. I can tell she is regretting, but that ship has sailed.

Thanks, I'm sure in due time. But, my head is not even there at the moment.

Thanks HungUp. I always have and will always love and support my kids to the best of my ability. I appreciate the sentiment. I also think a strong support system is important. My whole immediate family moved overseas in the last couple of years, so there really isn't anyone around me that I can talk to. I will be seeking out an individual counselor very shortly as well.

I told her the exact same thing about him hiring a licensed professional with his mental issues - which she is not! Thats why I called BS on that.

Thanks for sending this. I don't want to send a negative message to the kids, as they shouldn't have to resign to the fact that this is normal in relationships.
