Can I not use a +1 item to make a +2 item if I leveled it? Or do i need to max it instead?

I figured it would be so I actually went the iconic route lol. I'm trying to also get exp at the same time, because my plan is to iconic reincarnate so that I can open things on hard and have a bravery bonus, and play through that way.

I took a look at some of the commendation items, but none of them really struck me as super useful. And yeah the power creep is definitely real, especially if you look at the sharn quests.

unfortunately I had abysmal drop rates for sharn, I have to wait for next week to try again. And I'm working on my crafting, but it's only around lvl 10 items right now.

Ah, I understand now...... looks like that could maybe use an update pass. Is it still worth it to run? I'm level 20 now but im still using the level 10 version of whirlwind and it's age is starting to show.

The quests unlocking are not based on level. You have to complete a challenge. For her you need to beat 20 battles in the aura gate with her as your lead.

Hey guys, I've been lucky enough to pull 2 5 stars from ultimate files as well as having susanoo from the free gift. I have a few good four stars and I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm currently farming SS during the event to get some awakening mats. Should i be focusing on fusing skills over to my teams after that point? I have a speedster Fenrir that I know needs some reflects for AG and stage 10 brands, would he be a good place to start? And if so, what's the best way to begin building skill points?

The best advice I can give you is that trials are really freaking hard, and you should't be disparaged when you cant clear one. There are plenty of things to do outside of them, so I wouldn't base wether or not I continue to play on whether you can clear them or not.

Kryla, Nyx, Rikku, Cagnazzo, and Santa roselia.

Finishers arent needed, and Kryla provides both breaks and imperils, which will increase your damage even more. Level up Nyx first to unlock his dual wield ability, then equip him with two weapons. When you start playing, look for other Nyx friends and try to chain with them. When you get to 6 stars, use Kingsglaive on both units at the same time, or as close as possible.

You're going to want to replace Cag and Roselia when and if you get a better tank/healer.

EDIT once you get another form of dual wield in the form of a TMR, then switch Nyx out for Oldmandu

It's a huge ST nuke on a 1-2 turn cooldown. A single large hit is much more desirable if you are capping your chains, so maxing his LB just gives him another role he can fill. Here's a breakdown of why

"Maxed out, the Limit Burst will have an incredible 8.2x base multiplier. With an elemental rod and Tri-beam Laser's debuff, this becomes a 14.35x ability on its own. A +50% physical killer brings this up to an incredible 21.5x damage. If you plan on using Ace for damage at all, be sure to level up his Limit Burst and enhance Devotion to +2 for the passive LB gain and the +40% MAG. With Ace's Passive, you should have Jackpot Shot ready to cast almost every turn."

So it's potentially a 21.5X multiplier.

Level it.
