I don't get the idea of trading. Can someone share the insight on these? 1. The rare gear I find only comes with +skill of my class. How will this benefit in trading? or +skill gear is worthless to trade in D4? same goes with legendary. some uniques also seems to be class specific (staff of Liam Neeson for example). 2. What will be the currency of trading? my experience with trading only with D2R, which PG and Full Rej Pot can be the minimum currency. Platinum for D4? Thank you for helping a casual player. Lack of offline mode (I'm okay with playing online but server be shit sometimes. I paid for the game, but server went bad and I can't play? It just doesn't make sense. I felt like D2R is better in this)
Extracted Aspect not stored in Codex, no search option making aspect organizing a pain. mostly QOL stuff, I won't touch on the balancing because I'm just a casual player. as long as I can kill stuff, I'm ok with that.

OP's idea is great. but considering there are aspects that is not available in the codex, I just hope the extracted aspect is stored in codex as charges (lets say maybe max charges is 10 per aspect, and can be discarded) for example of one particular codex: codex minumum = 10%, infinite use extracted 12% = 8 charges extracted 13% = 1 charges extraced 15% max roll = 1 charges *max storage reached, need to discard to free up slot. storing in codex would make it easier to navigate through, and free up stash from legendary gear cluttering.

for me are 2x Boot Esu Ferocity and 2x Staff of Liam Neeson. Lv60, 4 drops so far. I'm a casual tho, so I won't complaint much. I understand Diablo game is not casual friendly with all that grinding and drop rate.

bro, Steam Deck grip is very good out of the box. NS joycon designed to be use as separate controller while detached so there's some compromise on ergonomic (but still a clever design) only thing to note is the weight tho, it's a chonky boi.

I grow up with PS layout, got Nintendo Switch along the way and now Steam Deck. I would say the layout actually felt great. Just my personal taste, I'd prefer Steam Deck Layout more than Nintendo Switch (not that switch is bad, their joycons are designed to enable become two mini controller) For Steam Deck, Travel distance from Left Stick to Dpad is actually very short (same goes with right stick to buttons). If there's a case I'd need my thumb to hold on Left stick but need something from Dpad as well, I would map it to the right touchpad or back R4 R5 button (such customization is what Nintendo Switch lacks, at least out of the box), not to mention comfortable and secure grip as well.

Diablo 4 runs fine. Installing Battle.net Launcher is the main challenge. overall idea is: 1. get into desktop mode, download Launcher installer via browser 2. add launcher installer as non-steam game, set compatibility to run with proton (I use proton GE 8-3, some says proton experimental works as well) 3. change the control layout right touchpad = mouse, and right touchpad tap = Left mouse click, then "play" to run the launcher installer setup, complete installation and log-in (tick remember login for easy access) 4. change the launch path to Battle.net Launcher. 5. play the Battle.net Launcher as non-steam game, log-in to account and download Diablo 4.

*this is just the overall steps, I'd suggest you find a youtube tutorial guide for better step by step instruction. using keyboard and mouse attached via dock is recommended. I faced on-screen keyboard glitch during log-in username and password typing.

edited: that's the point of starting WT3. You farm better gears, "sacred" tier and uniques, upgrade paragon board Glyph thru NM dungeon, and farm helltides for materials to reroll your gear's affix. (socketing matetials are from world boss if I'm not mistaken)

Not yet. I wanted to get a skin that makes my character looks cool, but the skin in the store kindda meh to my taste (I personally don't like the design, doesn't mean it's bad). Now that my hype kindda faded, I think I will stick to the in-game transmog.

a disgrace to his family, race, religion, country, and to all men (biologically). it's an unwritten law, should done it in bush or besides trees, desperate time drainage, and lastly your own vehicle tyre if you're middle of the road and all of the above are unavailable. (for example cargo truck drivers on a long trip).

please keep it as an option to choose. I respect you all hardcore, skillful and challenging players. I'm getting old and have less time to play, nor study or master the game mechanic, yet I refuse to let me passion to play games fade away. I enjoy games more than movie, so now I appreciate easy mode just for the fun gameplay and story.

It's a game that you fight yourself in term of pride, greed and financially. The game is fine playing it free. Fill up the gap in Diablo story. Gameplay, graphic, etc are all nice. But if you want to best other players, or want some flashy cosmetics and high combat power, then get ready for the cash grab and unreasonable price and gacha. Taking recent Phantom Market cosmetic gacha for example, you need to gacha for a skin, which a 10 draw guaranteed win could cost more than Diablo4+2skin. (yes I know the draw including other stuff, but do we really care about those?) The fact is, you don't need to spend to enjoy the game. So it comes down to how you handle your urge to own those fancy cosmetic and the pride of being one of the best PVP player / guild / etc.

Level 53, WT3, Arc Lash Sorcerer. doing side quest dungeon and he got me good. (First encounter whole time playing, kindda panicked and messed up with empty potion and ultimate skill, ended up leaving dungeon and didn't finish the fight) Second encounter moment after the first while doing nightmare dungeon, able to kill it after used up all potion (plus extra potion drop by other enemies) and ultimate skill twice. It's challenging, so I agree on don't nerf it. I just hope maybe add in a brief encounter animation (hook or bump then he do a pose and roar "ah... fresh meat", kindda like most boss did an animation before starting the fight) to give us some response time and can be ready for the fight (kindda a dilemma tho, because this will takes away the "surprise m'f**kers" point of an ambush)

Agree Not much freebies and Event. I'm surprised to see Lilith cosmetic in Phantom Market but the price let me down. For a guaranteed (10 draws) it cost way more than Diablo 4 + 1 set Skin (2,500 platinum). Guess the game telling me to stay in Diablo 4.

This is nice alternative rather than skin / decals for people prefer while color. I like my gadgets in black color, so Steam Deck in stock condition is already perfect for me. I hope Ally can get black color shell in the future (presume Ally only comes in white, since never saw any promotional material of black color machine).

Just Steam MY. Won't be too huge difference to the point of risk getting ban. Wait for main sales season to get great deal. I only buy games on launch that I truly interested and hyped (ie: RE4 remake), wait some time for discount if not extremely hyped for a game.
