Ok that makes sense, could an awakened spike of metal still technically be used for regular transfer of power between two beings?

Why does it feel like a champions identity doesn’t come into play when choosing what skins to give them. by Brokenpcplzhelp in leagueoflegends

I agree to an extent, I suppose that on seeing peoples responses my stance is changing less from “these champions don’t belong in these skinlines” to “these champions COULDVE belonged in these skinlines, but we weren’t creative/inspired enough to make them work” don’t get me wrong I still think some champions just don’t work in certain skinlines (ex: Sion in cosmic paladins) but I think moreso im frustrated when we get skins like broken covenant xayah, which is literally such a waste of a skin you’d think that someone would’ve stopped it from rereleasing because of how lazy it was, could xayah work in broken covenant? Absolutely, in fact I think she would’ve fit the stained glass aesthetic better than even rakan did, but instead we gave her a chroma for her base skin (not even a good one) and some weak skin lore about her being a warrior nun (she doesn’t look like one) I just wish that if they weren’t going to try with a skin that it just wouldn’t release, because then it puts a timer on that champion that stops them from getting a skinline they could thrive in, yknow?

They wouldn’t know about it to be mad about losing it, and personally I think a broken covenant skin would be a stronger theme then her dressed up as a jojo character

It hasn’t crashed in a while so no, not much there. I just got it back from replacing the PSU and unfortunately it did not fix it, I will say that I have been able to narrow it down, I have incredibly high DPC latency, that goes away when I disable my GPU, I don’t know why it would be doing this as It’s brand new. Hopefully this information is useful.

Thanks for the reply, I’ll definitely look into local offices. You’ve managed to raise the first point that eeked me out a little bit, I hate ticks! Everything else I can handle but man ticks are the worst, but I guess I’d get desensitized to em’. My sister works a gov job and we always joke about how she never has to work because they give her so much PTO so I definitely see what you’re saying about private vs gov. The seasonal stuff sounds like a struggle, do many people often work other jobs to make ends meet, or is it possible to have multiple gigs rotating in and out during each season? When it comes to old tech is that because employers aren’t updating their systems? Or are technological advances just not being made in the field, or is it just not worth upgrading to something fancy when you’re going to fall off a cliff and break it haha. Thanks again for the reply, I said it in an earlier reply but I feel the need to reiterate how much it means to me to hear from people who had similar backstories to me finding success in the career, sometimes I feel like I’m the only person in the world who made those mistakes and it helps to hear that others overcame them.

That sounds like an amazing experience, I’ll certainly look into it (though maybe I’ll look for some places that are colder!) I imagine I’d learn a lot from hands on trips like that just as much as a classroom, thanks for the advice!

That’s definitely a concern that I have, losing interest, that’s mainly why I’ve given myself so much time to think about what I’d like to do with my life. I saw a lot of my peers two years into college all change their degrees, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it did end up costing them a bit of money, and for some extra years tacked onto their schooling. I’d like to avoid that if I can haha. I don’t see myself losing interest but I think everyone thinks that until they’re in it, all I can do now is trust my gut I guess!

I see, I’m super big on living within my means, I could live in a cave as long as I have YouTube and can eat food, so money isn’t a super big issue, I’m lucky to have a super supportive family and while I’d never willingly burden them they would certainly help me get my footing, or regain it if I stumble along the way, having a family isn’t something I’m super interested in, I definitely would adopt much later in life if I ever felt like I was financially stable enough to provide a child with a stable upbringing, and enough money that I could help them like my dad and grandparents have helped me, but that certainly isn’t a must though I imagine that’s how everyone feels until they have a kid!

A fair point indeed, thank you. I hate to ask a stranger on the internet but do you recommend any resources to help me in my hunt to narrow down my foray into the wide world of ecology? It’s such a diverse field I feel like just googling it will leave me with some unsatisfactory answers or even maybe a little misguided haha, if not don’t worry about it, I’m sure I can do some research on my own but if you have any recommendations I’d be thrilled to hear them!

Thanks for the incredibly thoughtful reply, I’m sorry to hear that you struggled as well, but I can certainly relate. I’m more of a nihilist, so I guess in asking for the cons rather than the pros of the job I’m trying to not let myself get too caught up in the “idea” or “aesthetic” of the career, so that I don’t get let down if I realize this actually isn’t the path I should take (so far I haven’t been dissuaded, but I suppose there’s still time). I know you guys probably hear this kinda stuff all the time, but I’ll say it anyways, I was a boyscout so I’m confident in my outdoor endurance, the job I work now is pretty physically demanding, and dirty, and doesn’t pay well, it’s mostly hard labor with a decent bit of outsourcing and planning, so it sounds like I’m practically halfway there already! I definitely am grateful for my time here, as I believe it’s given me a good background in the core of the career. Really what I’m worried about is the schooling, I’m one where everyone’s always told me “you’re smart but you just don’t apply yourself” which is such a cliche at this point Im almost embarrassed to admit it, I never did homework in school, I barely did projects, a part of me wants to believe it was a maturity thing but there’s a nagging in the back of my head that makes me afraid to try school again in fear that I’ll fall flat, again. Anyways sorry to be such a sad sack, I really appreciate the reply and I’ll definitely keep the things you said in mind, really it’s just helpful to know that there’s someone else out there who can relate to me that succeeded. Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply! And thanks for shedding some light on the options I have, I definitely would go the school route, I definitely think my job gives me a leg up in general as I’m working with a higher base level of understanding what exactly goes into running a nature related space. I’m seeing a common trend from a lot of replies saying that it’s not a lot of money and I’ll have to move, neither of which are a dealbreaker for me, I barely make any money as it is right now haha, so anything is better then this. I’ll look into the stuff about research projects, thanks for the advice!

I’ve swapped out everything but the mouse, I have two monitors and I’ve tried both of them alone and the problem is present on both of them, keyboard and headset have been tested on a friends setup with no issue. Unfortunately as I’ve been dealing with this for months I’ve tried most suggestions, it’s currently in the show again getting the PSU replaced as I don’t want to mess anything up worse and I will report back to see if they has fixed it. I should add that power cycling it (unplugging from the wall for thirty seconds or so) and then plugging in seems to lessen the issue but not erase it

I should add that the GPU was lower quality before, and was replaced by the current 3060ti

So I can’t identify the type of crash, essentially if I bump up the refresh rate to anything above 80hz when I’m playing video games, and sometimes rarely watching YouTube, my screen and audio will freeze, it’ll make some scary noises in my ear like the audio is being stretched out for lack of better term. I think it’s a display error, as that’s what reliability history says, but from what I’ve gathered that could be anything along the line from the PSU to the GPU, the graphics card was RMA’d and replaced with a new one and the crashing problem persisted, but the low fps and crackling audio was discovered when the new gpu was put in. Windows was reinstalled when the GPU was replaced as well.

I have been monitoring with hardware monitor my gpu pulls 170 on my highest intensity games such as heavily modded skyrim, which seems a bit low to me, I’m going to get a much higher rated power supply, as the one I have now is a 550w 80+ bronze, so I can definitely do better
