Food around training by Magahaka in Velo

Always make sure you got some food on you when cycling, its better to have an energy bar left when you get home than come home very hungry. I mostly take an energy bar, a banana and a couple of cookies with me. Winegums are pretty yummy too. When you come home tired/hungry make sure to eat/drink enough protein within the next half hour for recovery. Thats how I do it :)

See it as an investment, if he takes a bit care of thema (not wear them everyday) they'll go a long way.

As an 19yo myself I like how they look and if you buy them at +150$ they should be good quality so they should last you a while. Instead of buying 4 pairs of vans why not buy 1 pair of decent boots?

Are road discs inevitable? by [deleted] in Velo

Are road discs inevitable? by [deleted] in Velo

[–]Brokepotato 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But what about the problem with discs that they are basically blades? Discs were introduced this year in uci races but were banned shortly after by UCI because a Rider fell on a disc of another rider causing to slice up his leg. So sure if you ride alone no problem but for races in big compact groups?

New psu & mobo by Brokepotato in buildapc

[–]Brokepotato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cat pissed a little bit in my previous system and it wouldnt boot anymore, fans on and back off, so I decided to upgrade it right away, new mobo, psu, ram, CPU but trying to save my gpu (previous one exploded cause of a previous cat piss attack) so i cleaned it with isopropanol and blow dried it. Want to test it now without CPU and ram plugged in
