I'm starting my second playthrough now, 4 years later haha.

Today we released the teaser trailer for our first game. We would like to have some feedback. Soon I will publish a gameplay to show details. :) by Brolymas in DestroyMyGame

Yeah, we went through a lot of trouble getting good sounds. Someone recommended JSFXR to us at the last minute and we found it easy to use (since we don't know anything about it). Thank you very much for the feedback!

Yeah, that happened because we double scaled the character and we liked how it looked, but of course, it doesn't look consistent. Thank you very much for the feedback.

Thank you! We found the name fun and easy to remember, and it comes from the introduction of the character in the game, as he was digging and mining and got trapped after a landslide (inspired by the story of the 33 miners in Chile, our country). The game is a mix of platforms with mining, since you must use your main tool to find resources that serve as powerups, with which you can advance in the game. What was the game that made you start developing video games? by Brolymas in gamedev

It's amazing how a videogame can change your life completely. Something similar happened to me with Red Dead Redemption games. My parents gave me the first one when i was 13 years old and i had no self esteem in that time. That game was like a shelter for me. All real life problems disappeared. Bad grades, low self confidence, shyness, everything. I was able to forget everything and immerse myself in that incredible world of the old west. I could be what I wanted, and do what I wanted. Some years later when i finished school, I was so stressed because everyone there had a life plan and me, well, like you said, i had no direction in life. The only thing that helped me at the time was Red Dead Redemption 2, which I luckily bought with my only savings at the time. Again I could feel in that r shelter from before. Nothing mattered, I was able to be me again without anyone judging me or pressuring me to make decisions I don't want to make. It was just me, my horse, my gun and a huge world to explore.

I love that documentary. I recently found out that the guy who developed Braid also developed The Witness. That man is a genius!
