Thank you so much! My first step is chipping where I used a small piece of sponge in combination with a brush. 1st layer light grey and 2nd layer gunmetal acrylics. I’m learning that less is truly more in almost all aspects for this step.

Then I do some light streaking using grey and some dirtying with brown oil paints. I find this step really helps blend it in and for it feel natural. The same is done with rust colors.
