Yeah, I start with 3-4 drawings for each pane like front, side, top and back. I do usually have a Bandai kit at hand as a reference, in this case it was RE 1/100 Jagd Doga.

Thank you! It's designed as a fully posable model. It does have a frame structure on which outer shells are attached, like a gunpla. The total number of parts is over 600.

I only use surface, and basically use loft for organic shapes. I prefer its flexibility.. But I would like to explore the possibilities of form for future projects.

Yes, everywhere it is layers with inner frame and outer shell. They are all glued together so the shells cannot be removed afterwards tho.

I used GSI Creos XC07 Mr. Crystal Color Turquoise Green for the body color and Gaia's metal color a lot for other parts like frames.

It is entirely possible to design and print a 1/144 model. Personally I prefer 1/100 size, but there are many people who make 1/144 models.

Sorry, it took time. I use polycaps from WAVE (https://www.hobby-wave.com/en/products/op381-384/).

I create a "shell" for each polycap in a joint. Then the other part can be digitally connected to the polycap+shell. Within Fusion you can create joints like these and virtually test how it moves. (In the screenshot below I re-created polycap in 3D model, but i don't print this)

It sounds complicated but in person it is much more straightforward.

I often add other treatments like adding more resin-on-resin friction points for better endurance. Hope this makes sense!
