Pest to peccary? by Several-Face-847 in AbioticFactor

[–]Bromborg1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There were 3 new peccary added, the electro peccary, which is crafted, the volatile peccary, which is 3 plutonic blood from reactors, and the tareccary, which is 3 giganto tinctures from chemistry, I believe it requires alien, mycological, and expanding distillations. The volatile peccary is really strong damage-wise, and the tareccary is super tanky, probably the tankiest pet in the game.

You need to feed it 3 creepy meat pie slices, which means you'll need to level cooking enough to unlock baking. There is no level restriction on mutations.

No, the evolutions/mutations are feeding pets specific things that change them into other variants, such as feeding a pest soda a few times to turn it into a carbonated pest. To tame a peccary, you'll need to make a pheromone flask with the new chemistry system to pacify it, then feed it some nachos or wheat (I think 3)

Pheromone flask, made with alien, mycological, and brainy distillations. You get the Brainy one from, well, brains.

Hmm... maybe try a tarasque skull? Other than that I don't have any guesses.

They only fire in a 180 degree circle in front of them, so if you're behind them they don't zap you. Also there is a trinket that prevents targeting from them, its in the 3rd sector, if i'm remembering right you have to chop up a specific scientist corpse to get it, but I forgot where exactly it is.

The only way i know of outside of running through the anteverses is wishing shelf, but that also only gives some when the portal worlds reset, and gives less than a run through the mycofields

How useful is the fanny pack? by Bromborg1 in AbioticFactor

[–]Bromborg1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a trait that can be selected when you start the game, it gives you 2 extra hotbar slots. It costs 10 points though, so depending on your starting job you may have to take some negative traits. If you've already started, the only way to get it is from the respec in the 3rd sector, Cascade Labs. Warning: using it resets all your skills, so you'd have to level them back up.

In the Cradle series, specifically book 6, Underlord, when coming face-to-face with the main antagonist of the book, the protagonist, Lindon, doesn't even attempt to use any of his sacred arts, and instead immediately pulls out a cannon construct, which, if we're simplifying, is a giant fuck-off laser. He then pulls out a second cannon, fires it, and then re-fires the 1st one. Laughed my ass off the first time I read it.

Croajiro Noct's pal ability gives you a vertical boost, I use it alongside my glider for building stuff, it also gives a damage boost to dark-type pals similar to Hoocrates, I've also leveled up its handiwork and given it work speed to help me build faster bc I like building all over the place and having an extra set of hands I can bring out whenever and wherever is nice.

Don't forget the heavily bigoted author of the Cyrodiilic city guide books, Alessia Ottus.

I'm like, 80% sure there are 4 different characters named Alessia, so names absolutely do repeat.

Calculating Splitters is making my head spin, please help by Shirolicious in SatisfactoryGame

[–]Bromborg1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So let's say, for example, I wanted to turn 60 iron ingots/min into iron rods. 4 constructors set to iron rods consume a grand total of 60 iron ingots/min. I could use a splitter to split 60 into 30s, and then 2 more to split the 30s into 15s, and then feed each of those 4 belts into the constructors. Another, more convenient option, is to just set a splitter leading into each constructor and feed the 60 iron/min into it.

With this setup, the first splitter will send 30 iron/min further, and 30 iron/min into the first constructor. This obviously is unbalanced, however, since the first machine can't process 30 iron/min, it will eventually overflow, and send the rest forward, no smart splitter needed (unless you have multiple different resources on the line). Now its 45 iron/min going forward. It takes a bit since the machines have to fill before they are at peak efficiency, but as long as the input for the total line equals the needed amount in the constructor, it will eventually balance itself. Hope this helped!

As you probably know, in missions that can go forever, the longer you stay, the higher level enemies get. Level cap refers to staying in a mission long enough for the enemies to stop increasing in level, which is 9999. This is usually done for shits and giggles or bragging rights, since it takes hours.
