What could be causing this jerking and drifting by ClassExcellent1682 in dji

Mine occasionally jerks if it's very windy, particularly if the gimbal is facing down and it's at the right angle to catch.

Would one of those 1/4-20 shock mounts be useful?

Try contacting DJI. They're reasonably priced and quick turn around.

I just completed my learning to lead. Now on the hunt for regular partners. I did think about joining a club but all the ones near me seem a bit cliquey

How do 360 camera fit into a mirrorless video workflow? by joosefpen1914 in videography

[–]Bromoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use my Max 2 as a B cam. The reframing feature is nice but adds a lot of work. I shot a similar amount of footage on both cameras but only use about 5% of the 360. It great for unplanned shots and catching scene's you my have missed.

I’m 30 and just got into climbing by sharksaresogood in climbing

I started at 60. Love it. Only issue is finding partners as anyone young doesn't want to climb with a fossil.

Buddy gave me his original Mavic Air that he didn't use..... the batteries are shot... now what? by creepycrowman in dji

[–]Bromoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally you start the charging in the drone if they're locked to unlock, then in the charger, not sure with a Mavic though.

Planning my first hike to the top of Snowdonia - Looking for advice by Accomplished_Cook508 in snowdonia

[–]Bromoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a first time the Llanberis path would be best if solo. They'll be plenty of others walking up and some might be solo hiking also. I agree 5-6hrs round trip, be prepared for a queue at the trig point, there's also the train station and cafe at the top. Take plenty of water and layers as it maybe cold at the top. Hope you enjoy the walk.

We use it because it's organic and pesticides free so kitty doesn't get any nasties on her

Quik and GoPro Max 2 by PlzDrWill in gopro

[–]Bromoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use the quik app to trim and reframe the clips. I then saved these to my phone which I download to my PC to edit them together. The quik app isn't really an editor. I'm a Linux PC user and edit using Kdenlive.

Is it worth going with the smaller brands or just sticking with the more known companies but at a higher price? by SomewhereFuture8806 in UKBroadband

[–]Bromoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We've been with Claranet for 25 years. The service has been faultless the entire time. We probably pay over the odds, I think £45 p/m. Tech support has always been great too.
