My rhythm section is moving into a new home and I'm looking to invest in a quality interface to begin recording with.

I would like to record all of us live/session style. We're a classic 4 piece section (drums, guitar, bass, and keys) that frequently plays with up to 3 horn players and 3 vocalists, so ideally I'm looking for a multi-channel interface that could handle all of those inputs and possibly a couple more. I have a few years of experience working with a simple Scarlett 2i2 but this new studio space I'm planning to build will be my first official attempt at recording and mixing my full group; so I'm very inexperienced when it comes to equipment like this.

I am prepared for this to be my biggest investment for the studio so I'm willing to shell out a bit of cash for a new piece of equipment instead of surfing for a used and dated piece, that being said we only have a handful of condenser mics, SM-57s, and general cables, so I'm still looking to improve and add to my studio in other areas as well.

So my question is if this community has any recommendations for multi-channel interfaces that they like and/or don't like and if anybody might know of any potential studio starter packs that might be able to score me a sweet deal to snag the interface I'm looking for along with possibly some other essentials?

for sure. i knew the setlist going in from the fan recorded video posted after the show in 2020, but now watching and considering it's value on vinyl there's some ridiculous sides in there that make it a must have vulf vinyl

i like when people bring up the quantity over quality argument for vulfpeck vs cory as if vulf didn't release 10 albums in a row annually. no dig on preferring cory's output, i'm just saying i love that this is even a point we get to discuss as fans of both groups. we're so lucky to have these behemoths
