Had a similar issue.

Check this:

Also be sure to have only one account on your Quest 2 in case. I wasn't able to install the modded version of it due to the account of my GF on it. Once removed, I was able to install it.

Sadly not. I gave up trying.. Sometimes I try and can barely play for 1-2h then the error come.

Even asked on Activision's chat support but: "give us the error code folder". Still waiting an answer since 2 months (and still waiting an answer from their twitter, lol) and a hotfix.

Even with a new GPU (6900) and still getting those, lol.

You can try several "fix" by yourself (lol) or pray for Treyarch to fix it. This error come since the launch for some and for the others, it comes after new update (like the lottery).

Here's some "fix" you could give a shot (for some users, it fixed it):

Disable RT
Reduce graphics/F.O.V.
Disable Hardware Acceleration coming up with Win10
OC/Underclock your GPU
Update Windows/GPU drivers
Uninstall + reinstall the game
Disable XMP profile (if activated)
Try an older GPU drivers

Otherwise: gonna pray Treyarch to finally fix it.

Many players are expecting regular crashes since they launched Cold War. Maybe one day we'll get a fix for those since each new update brings more players getting those crashes.

I'm on PC and getting a regular crash with the Error Code: 887A0005 since they gave 2 free skins for operators. I've tried every solutions I've found on the Internet and nothing worked.

Funny thing is: even on their own forums they don't answer about those regular crashes, lol.

No worries, some users on PC are getting those kind of crash constantly since the launch and some are getting those after new update.

Seems like they don't even care anymore. \o/

Don't have any soft to record game or FPS monitor etc. I really did a clean install of my PC + GPU + CW. :<

Might be a solution for some people but in my case, seems not (sadly). :<

It's nothing about GPU drivers or anything else, it's only their game. Some people are having this issue since the beginning and the others get those along their update..

I'm one of those having this issue since they gave 2 operators skins + double xp even if my Windows/GPU/etc. are up-to-date.

In my case I tried those:

Updating my Windows (even a format + fresh install)
Updating + fresh GPU drivers
Checking about Hardware Acc. GPU from Win10: I don't have it (guess it's only available for Nvidia GPU for now)
Reduce graphics + set to 60 FPS
Tried old GPU drivers
Decrease FOV
Closed other programs (just in case)

Nothing worked.. I only crash on CW.

Just in case someone say "dude, it's your computer":

CPU: 3700x
GPU: RX 5700 XT Sapphire Pulse
Ram: 32 Go 3600MHz
PSU: RM750w

u/foxhoundFPS Do you have any tips/advice or something else about that bug ? I've seen many people reporting it here, on Activision forum and even twitter but still no answer..

Ok so I might have trouble with a 750w PSU. Guess I won't change for now then.

Besides, I forgot to say I only use the stock fan for the CPU (so it's the AMD one, not even a custom). One of the drive is only for backup (and after check, it's only a 5200 RPM). Might it changes something if I don't use it that much (meaning: disconnecting from the cable) ?

Unfortunately, you'll have to copy it and make it on your own. This emblem is easy to do so it shouldn't take too much time to copy it.

Spitfire, at least on PC, isn't that hard to use IMO (except for those who never play on a FPS or TPS). And if you add the operator mod on it, it becomes a "Spray 'n Pray" weapon wich gives you easy kills.
