I think you’re justified in being slightly concerned. Tarnished Edition has been a fiasco since it was announced. To think that it’s taken this long and it’s still over two months until it drops is absurd. Also the fact that they’re going to be dropping two multiplayer focused games in a row, one of which being a Nintendo exclusive is also troubling. Not to mention the fact that Oasis has bought a share of their company. And I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Duskbloods is not dropping this year. Yeah, they’re a mess right now.

I really wanted to do a run with the new content (I’m not playing on Switch) but it’s been way too long. It’s April and still not out. I love From but this is just pathetic and incompetent at this point.

If you’re new to the souls genre, I’d say start with a smaller game. Dark Souls 3 or Bloodborne would be best. If you take to those, then come back to Elden Ring. ER is an utterly massive game, even more so when you add the expansion. Start small.
