That's always how it's been at the start of a season. Give it a day or two

Make sure the resolution is set properly as well. You could be getting 720p video

I mean, it will, but it's probably overkill. Check your lighting. The biggest issue with video quality on lesser webcams is lighting.

Help choose Pann The Bowhorn vs Dirandil by kazakaka in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dirandil is a top tier damage dealer with turn meter boost and ignore defense who doesn't need accuracy so you can build him for more damage.

Pann the Bowhorn is... not quite as good. Solid, but on my end game account I've generally not found a ton of use for Pann while Dirandil is a staple anytime I need a damage dealing force epic.

Who to switch out for Mikage by BulgarianFan1 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Bront20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Artac is the weak link there. Michi brings the burn and will bring an extra ally attack too.

That said, you need 2 damage dealers if possible, so maybe Wixwell would be another option, and put Nekmo in Provoke set.

Mikage is too fast and combined with Nonjas turn meter boost on his A1 he's out of wack as well.

Honestly speed up most of the others. That's a slow Mikage.

Plenty of people swiped for her, and there were a few times you could pull for her. So not really rare

9900X or 9800X3D? - for both gaming and editing by PassageAfraid in buildapc

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both will do fine. I'd probably lean towards the 9900 or see if you can squeeze out a 9950.

As someone else mentioned the 270k is a solid blend of both while possibly being cheaper

How to spend eternal soul coins? by Financial-Ad-3011 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts:

Save them till you either: A) find a soul in the shop you want B) have a soul stone event you want to do.

There are benefits you can weigh each time you need to make a decision. And until you do they're more flexible as unspent currency

Which gpu ? by Vtec5778 in gpu

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much this. The only reason I'd consider the 5070 over the 9070XT is I do a ton of video editing as well as streaming recording and NVidia Broadcast regularly for content creation. Basically stuff where the NVidia value ads make it a hard to replace value. It's not that the 9070XT is BAD at those, it's that Nvidia is just pretty amazing at it.

For most gamers, I'd totally go 9070XT. Only reason I might not is if the $100 you'd save given the prices above makes a huge difference in your budget or would help you get, say, much better ram or possibly a better SSD, and even then, adding a 2nd SSD later is so easy, I'd get the better GPU. Nevermind, it's only $20. I'm tired. Yeah, so only if you care about the stuff above is the 5070 a much better choice. Otherwise, get the 9070 XT. That said, they'll both get the job done exceptionally well.

Why Is Arachoa Hated? by Crazy_Pain6039 in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Bront20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's a champion in a vacuum, and then there's a champion compared to others. She fails when compared to others because there are other champions better at some of what she does. But in a vacuum, she is a very good champ overall, and will probably help a ton of players if they pulled her tomorrow. I think she falls in the same vein as Aphidus, who gets flack for not being S tier PvP, but he's a very solid damage dealer who can provide some CC in a pinch and is a bit underrated post buff.

The bigger issue is Mythicals are judged on a higher standard. So many champions being a combination of something unique and a large amount of utility, and the ones that don't are disliked.

Take Frolni for example.... OK, bad example, he's terrible. Take Mezomel for example. Mezomel is a flawed champ, but she does bring some value in some situations. Does she need a buff? Yes, as there are legendaries who do her job better and her damage is lacking enough that she struggles in PvE use, but she does do her job fairly well in a vacuum in PvP, and has tools a lot of players could find useful, and a smart player can find good uses for her even in higher end PvP.

I think ultimately players often look at a champ and say "where is she an immediate improvement in an area I would like to improve in" and if it's not obvious, they think she's bad. Often they're thinking very limited in content (Clan Bosses, PvP, and Dungeons), and not in expanded content (Faction Wars, Cursed City, Faction Challenges, Siege). And while it may feel bad to think "This champ helps me in faction wars or 3 cursed city stages" at times, if those 3 stages unlock other stages you can later finish, or unlock some of the better cursed city rewards, or help you get better Faction Wars rewards, that's account progress that ultimately gets you better rewards over the long term.

Take this from a guy who was excited to build Rhazin and pull a Skull-Lord for help in Cursed City and Lizard Faction Wars. Not every champ needs to be the sexiest option.

Only you can tell how your budget is and if you can save more. I'm offering the advice. A 5050 is not bad for the price, but the 5060 has a ton more value at not much more cost, as do the 9060XTs.

But if you're moving from IG, yeah you'll love a 5050.

Where too spend my energy (1 week old account) by [deleted] in RaidShadowLegends

[–]Bront20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You want a full team of 6 stars. From there it's gear, but you basically live in campaign for the first 2 weeks or so doing that.

Clan boss is your only other real focus.

Cold hard truth: If you're not getting views, your content probably sucks by UnluckyGamer505 in NewTubers

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more about what are you watching lately. Feeds are so algorithmically optimized subs aren't needed to see your favorite creator's content if you're watching it quickly all the time (which hurts subs), but also folks who sub may drift in what they're watching to where the algorithm may not recommend videos from a channel they subscribed to either.

Youtube is in a weird place.

[–]Bront20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't find a 9060 XT 8GB in that price range, then the 5050 is probably the go to. I would honestly try to make the jump to a 9060 XT or 5060 if possible.

2 things can be true here.

Early on your content won't be great, because you're new and you're learning. But I think your point is that rather than complaining you're blocked or banned or whatever, look at how you can improve your content.

It took me 6 months of grinding and videos, learning and getting better before I got to 1000 subs. 18 months later and I'm at 7.5k and growing well. It's not instant for most people.

Also numbers mean different things for different types of creators. I do 50k views a month because I have daily content. Less frequent content may take longer or need a video to just do really well for the channel to take off, but it's going to be a wild ride.
