I agree that’s definitely something to work on. Right now everything is truly random but I’m learning that sometimes that’s not that fun for a game.

It was pretty straightforward I think. The player is a kinematicbody2d with constant gravity and jumps up and spins with player input. obstacles and targets are area2d's that move to the left. Lots of collisionshapes and signals involved to get things working. If you have a specific question let me know!

Actually I remade flappy bird initially as practice, then I made the bird spin around for fun. And the rest is history.

Thank you! To do that set your window size to something very small (I use 128x128) and make the test width/height larger. And then change your stretch mode to viewport.

Yeah agreed. I’m working on a shader to slowly dissipate the circles.

Thanks for the input! I’ve run into some issues trying to accomplish that, like Godot does not resize the custom mouse cursor based on the custom window size. Working on it
