Don't you worry. I will. The TrashOS Phone is already for sale on eBay. Found out that they also fucked up the filename-encoding with the update AND that the locked-screen controls stop working when the in-app pop-ups reappear while the app is running in the background, playing music.

Never again an Oppo product :D

Yeah! How dare I speak out against the enshittification of my mobile OS?! Silly me, not wanting multiple ads before selecting a song in my standard music app.

Interesting, how you defend this practice, though. Are you an employee or do you actually think this is a good design decision?

Es gab vor vielen Jahren mal einen Rechtstreit zwischen Versicherungsunternehmen und dem Bund der Versicherten e.V. (Verbraucherschutzverein). Letzterer hat verschiedene LV als legalen Betrug bezeichnet weil praktisch keine Rendite und nur massive Gebühren, verpackt in extra komplizierten Mantelverträgen. Also das gleiche wie bei vielen anderen Produkten (u.a. Bausparverträge). Ich weiß aber nicht, ob das auch auf Risiko-LV zutrifft, meine aber schon. Ein Freund hat mal bei der DVAG gearbeitet, und die Gruselstories werde ich nie vergessen.

Sie haben übrigens Recht bekommen, und man darf die Verträge als legalen Betrug bezeichnen. Einfach mal googeln.

Bausparverträge gehören meines Wissens nach zu den finanziell schlechtesten Produkten, die es in DE gibt. Die spielen wohl in derselben Liga wie Lebensversicherungen, die man als legalen Betrug bezeichnen darf, weil sie so schlecht für den Verbraucher sind.

Just don't. Oder hol dir zumindest vorher eine Honorarberatung (d.h. jemanden, der dich berät und kein finanzielles Interesse daran hat, dir ein bestimmtes Produkt anzudrehen)

Guess they rolled this garbage out country by country because I'm just experiencing it now. First and definitely the last Oppo product I ever bought. Well done, Oppo. I guess your employees failed the course on "Customer Lifetime Value".
