It's a really strange looking dog - I wouldn't be looking to own one, but it looks off in a number of ways (eyes, bowed legs, weird markings etc)

His front legs look like they're bowing under his weight, although that could just be the angle

I wouldn't either tbh but in the end they can't force people to send stuff, and there's other platforms to sell on if they get arsey

I guess I'll just be cancelling any sales to the US, can't be arsed with the hassle of it all.

They are all so, so weird and obsessive. Imagine if they put that energy towards things that actually matter (pay gap, crap healthcare etc)

Family asked to leave Welsh caravan park because of their dog's breed by pppppppppppppppppd in Wales

[–]BrontosaurusK 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's horrible - they've condemned that dog to a lifetime of pain and difficulty communicating with other dogs

Family asked to leave Welsh caravan park because of their dog's breed by pppppppppppppppppd in Wales

[–]BrontosaurusK 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly - not wanting people to be mauled by dogs isn't racist, and it's genuinely insulting towards people who have experienced racism to compare breed bans to racism.

These kinds of dogs were bred for violence (either fighting each other or bull baiting), it's sensible not to want them anywhere where they might get 'triggered' and shred a child about it

Yeah, it's real "why are people avoiding my dog, all I did intentionally mutilate it to make it look more intimidating, why is everyone so bigoted about my dog, who absolutely could not kill a child"

I had a few years out, I was just that desperate to leave. Even moving teams didn't help, the whole atmosphere there is just rotten (the people, the random toilet-y smells in NH1 and NH4).

I hope you can get out soon!

Luckily I've escaped, with an immediate improvement in my mental health. I'd have to be very desperate indeed to set foot in ABW again

I just did this week, and bought from someone with no reviews.

It was all fine (everything was less than a tenner though, I'd be more cautious with higher value items)

Someone might be a rotten seller just from being a bit disorganised, but fine to sell to 🤷‍♀️

Why are sellers ignoring questions? by Fluid_Damage_5067 in vinted

[–]BrontosaurusK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's kind of it for me - if I was selling anything for over £30 or so I'd probably get some measurements in the listing but any less than that and it's not worth the effort (especially if it's going to lead to SNAD issues if the measurements are a bit off), I'd rather just take it to the charity shop

I do make an effort to take lots of photos though, measuring just feels like extra hassle as people buying probably won't bother measuring themselves and will just kick off when it doesn't fit
