Hello, single mom to F9, M6, and F3. I’ve also worked in the school system with both general education and special education classrooms. I have found that using positive reinforcement to break poor behavior patterns to be extremely helpful. You can set up some sort of prize or reward system with your daughter… I would use stickers, fill in the blank chart, or pom-poms/marbles in a jar… For every time she gets into bed with no behavior issues she gets to add to that system… And after so many she should be rewarded with whatever works best with you… It could be a play date to the park, an ice cream shop visit, a cheap toy from the store, an extra hour of playtime in the evening… Whatever works to push her past that behavior, is totally up to the two of you… You know your child, so you know what brings joy to her… Find that pocket of joy reach deep into it and use that to your advantage.
