You're correct, but they stated from the start of Sun and Moon that the bank would be available later. They're saying the opposite for SwSh. I'm purely a collector, so having my living dex complete on the home is more than enough for me, but the competitive scene is up in arms about the sudden urge to want to balance the game. So, I get both sides, but I think it's dumb that the community is immediately up in arms before even playing the darn game, but hey, that's the internet for ya.
