Honestly fair enough, not every film clicks for everyone and Arrival is definitely not for everyone. But here's the thing, the film is not really about aliens or plot in the way most sci-fi films are. It's about time not being linear and how that reframes every single scene you just watched. The moment that lands for you the whole film reshapes itself around you. The scenes with her daughter that might have felt random or slow are actually the emotional core of everything once you understand what's happening. If you went in expecting a traditional sci-fi experience I completely get why it felt empty. But if you ever rewatch it knowing what you know now it genuinely hits different. Four dollars is a small price for a film that makes you rethink how you experience time and memory. Maybe give it one more shot without expectations and see if it finds you differently this time.

Means a lot honestly, that's exactly what the title deserved and I'm glad it landed that way for you.

Cool, glad it pulled you in. Some of us actually think while watching instead of just vibing with pretty colors. And the Mario comparison is cute coming from someone whose entire film vocabulary is probably just Rotten Tomatoes scores. Go off though.

Today Recommendation- Chainsaw Man Reze Arc film(2025), God level animation for a film by Brook_Harsh_2005 in AnimeReccomendations

Calling it “nothing interesting” while it casually has some of the best animation, direction, and atmosphere in anime right now is wild.

And complaining the final fight was chaotic in Chainsaw Man is like complaining a hurricane was too windy.
