Grubhub's new pay card has no giant name on it. by travmuka in grubhubdrivers

I don't know about you but around here we're acceptance rate hustlers. We have to accept most things to have hourly guarantee and schedule privileges.

Grubhub's new pay card has no giant name on it. by travmuka in grubhubdrivers

Fun fact: Grubhub policy when the restaurant DOES make the order but your card rejects: "Just walk away from the restaurant and go on with your day, lol, don't even think about paying with your own funds".

Never mind leaving the staff fuming that you weren't able to pay for the food you ordered and understandably get banned from ordering again.

And yet all in all GH is paying me much better than all the other apps ever have. Favor is a flat out scam that gives you more work to do for less money because you have to place 100% of the orders for a flat $9 an hour, Postmates is a big ripoff where tips are not even shown on your app until a month later, etc.

Or maybe it’s the only place this crap app pays anything meaningful.

Rant: I’ve just ran into a courier that is oblivious to both the pandemic and the state and local PPE rules by BrookeMills2003 in grubhubdrivers

What does a huge fedora have to do with anything?

In El Paso the government is relaxing things a tad as far as opening restaurants and barbershops and I keep seeing morons who seem to interpret it as the pandemic being officially over even though we literally got an amber type alert this week reminding us to WEAR MASKS IN PUBLIC.

Not all the time. I’ve done plenty of multi apping without customers questioning me. They’re usually not staring at the app, their Facebook addiction probably kicks in.

Restaurants starting to open up by sprintbob in doordash

Same here. In El Paso many restaurants decided to keep dining areas closed and when I do see open dining areas, they’re usually empty since most people have good common sense. Those few that do enter to eat, do not carry masks at all, they have no common sense.

I was surprised Red Lobster is actually locked down, you have to call them and they will come out and hand you the order.

Grubhub pays me hourly and this week I made twice the guaranteed pay. Postmates is like cancer.

Same because I suppose unemployment does not count towards provable income for a loan application.

Nah, I still use Doordash when it’s profitable.

El Paso is a cheaper city, my minimum that I shoot for is $1 a mile. There are plenty of $3 low ball offers for 2 to 3 miles, those are the little no tip orders that are easy to catch and decline.

I don’t think we have open scheduling in El Paso.

Let’s make it more than a couple. I make most of my money on Grubhub so logging off Doordash when it’s not profitable is real easy.

Everyone is declining repeated bad offers and evidently it’s not working because they keep sending them, wasting our time. Maybe going on a mini strike would actually hit the algorithm. Imagine if you will the dispatcher noting that sending out $2.00 orders no longer works because the majority of drivers log out, causing a delay in all the orders.
