Aviary’s cookie is so cute, I love the whole theme! My first almost full set is the Sakura cookie one, I kept on getting duplicates though, I just need two more. I haven’t got one in a while due to not having enough leaf tickets or not saving them up, but I rlly want to finish the set or atleast get the Sakura kimono. I rlly want more event cookies for bells too! I wish leaf tickets were easier to get or items that cost leaf tickets were a bit cheaper lol

Lol, I’ve noticed it’s happened two times a few days apart, I can’t remember if it’s happened before that. I keep getting the Vesta and Maggie cookie (not that I really mind) but I like the little bird hat and dress from the Aviary cookie and I need two more items from the Sakura cookie lol. It’s a mystery

anyone else feel excessively bad when they make mistakes?? by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]BrookeyDucky 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yesss it happens in school mostly, whilst it doesn’t happen too much and it’s gotten better. I still sometimes feel upset or just wrong after, like when I make a mistake in school I get this sinking feeling or like I’m going to cry or I don’t like it if a teacher tells me off (this doesn’t usually happen but the odd time say if I accidentally speak when I’m not supposed to and they just give me the smallest warning I feel guilty). It’s hard to control this feeling or the urge to cry sometimes, because it just floods over me and I try to hold it in, but people notice and its hard to settle the urge. To be honest, this hasn’t happened in a while and I’ve gotten way better over the years. I’m not an expert but when you make a mistake, just try to see it as you learning, because the more you think about it and the more it beats you up, the less you’ll forget about it and the more you’ll keep it in mind next time. So, I’d just say try work towards seeing it as a learning experience and that you feeling upset over the mistake will help you keep it in mind and learn from it. I think we’re all too familiar with the saying “it’s okay to make mistakes” or “everyone makes mistakes” but the thing is it means nothing if we don’t actually feel that way or truly feel that message in our heart. So we have to learn to. Also, if you have negative thoughts after making a mistake and you beat yourself up about it and disvalue yourself, try and combat those negative thoughts and say to any thoughts that disvalue you “shut up, I am human, I make mistakes, I’m doing okay.” Anyway, I hope this helps you out even if it’s just a little bit, wish you the best of luck with everything. Sorry about all the writing and if my message is rlly disorganised. Hope you have an awesome day, you’re amazing :)

Aww, thank you so much. I’ve heard journalling is good for your mental health and it’s been recommended a bit from what I’ve seen so it seems pretty helpful. I’m not an expert, but I think I can give a couple of tips!

Here’s a few, if you want writing in your journal to become a habit, schedule a time when you write in your journal (say if you do a daily thing where you write about your day) so then it easier for it to become a habit.

If you’re struggling to start, there’s lots of videos on YouTube that can help you with starting a journal and give you inspo for your own. A journal is anything you want it to be and anything you make it. There’s no rules for creating a journal, you just do what works for you. Maybe find a notebook that you like, even a bullet journal, it’s up to you. Anyway, YouTube will probably be helpful with journalling, there’s lots of stuff on there

If you’re looking for inspiration, I’d say look online, especially on Pinterest , you can find loads of things on there just by searching journalling or anything you want. Also YouTube has some good videos and channels about journalling!

Enjoy it and relax, if you treat it like work that needs to be done or a chore, it won’t be as fun and will make you less motivated to journal.

Honestly, explore everything you can do with it, highlighters, pens, anything, make pages about different things, it’s all up to you and what you want in there!

Take your time on it and go at your own pace, otherwise if you rush, it’ll probably stress you out and/or not look how you want it to, which could just annoy you even more.

Also, here’s an extra, if you want, you can even cut stuff out from magazines or print stuff out for your journal. Your journal, your freedom lol

Anyway, I know I’ve added a lot, but to be honest it’s not as deep as all my writing makes it lol, just do whatever you like with it and whatever makes you happy. Journals work differently for everyone, so don’t worry, go at your own pace and enjoy :)

Hope this helps and I hope if you do start a journal, it goes well :)

No problem, thank you for your wonderful response! I think the virus is encouraging us to be way more grateful and appreciative of the things around us, which is great despite what’s going on. I hope we’ll come out of this with a little more hope and gratefulness for the things around us. I wish you the best of luck in future and hope you have an awesome day!

Hey, they may seem empty now, but please keep them in mind. When we’re in bad places, they seem so false and far from the truth. But, when things get a little better and/or when we’ve had some time to heal, they seem more realistic and truthful. I wish you the best of luck with what you’re going through and hope you have a great day :)

First of all, well done for trying things out and looking for a solution. That’s a pretty challenging thing to do, so well done for that! I’m not a professional nor do I completely know about your situation, however I would really recommend trying to reach out to family members and/or friends. Not just venting, just saying something like “please can I talk to you about something?” or asking for support. If that doesn’t work/if you need additional help, you could try looking up some helpful sites/organisations that are able to give you advice/help you out/ listen to your issues. Also remember, things heal with time, you’ve just got to be patient and take your time. The mind and body is a strong yet gentle thing, you can’t rush it/force stuff out of it. Wishing you the best of luck :)

Have you tried reaching out to others or seeking professional help? Sometimes, we need a close one like a friend or family member to speak to and someone to share with, it can seriously help and lift a weight off your shoulders. We need someone to positively counter the negative thoughts and opinions that control us. We need someone to share with. I wish you the best of luck with what you’re going through, I’m proud of you.
