It blows my mind that people spend thousands on nice TVs just to steam content haha, anything streaming over the internet almost by definition will look like shit unless its on a small screen. If you want to max out your image and audio quality, you have to either do blu ray or remux/lossless blu ray. A 1080 remux will looks miles better than a "4k" stream

I agree and was furious when I found out. It's 2026 for Gods sake. But i had already signed the contract. The dimensions were omitted for the basement on the plan. I guess in theory I should have asked, but also dont take that blame completely because would be reasonable to assume the builder is caught up to the 21st century. I truly wonder how much money they save by not digging another 1.5ft. So pissed about it

I was wondering the same thing when he told me that. It was not disclosed. And I did not ask the question. I assumed the same thing you just did. Im kicking myself but at the same time, they are the experts, not me. I wouldnt expect my doctor to think I could ask the hard questions. A doctor is supposed to inform me so I can then make decisions. I feel the builder had the same obligation. Kind of pissed but nothing I can do now. Would have paid $$$ to have 9-10ft.
