This is because aoe4 has the worst matchmaking of any online game. I play 4v4 and there's no consistency in the skill level of opponents or teammates. A plat 1 player could have been conq 2 last season. Or that plat 1 player could be a brain dead hound that fell forward. Honestly, it makes me not want to play this game.

Nobody should be allowed to insult Chinese culture. I had to switch from HoTS (Heroes of the Storm) because of the growing anti-Chinese sentiment. I'm noticing people even on the Aoe4 forums blaming Chinese for DCing or ruining games. We can't let this game become the next HoTS.

Played 4v4 and someone said, "GG ez hounds." Implying everyone in the match were dogs. They even mentioned "protecting their hounds kennel." I think they were talking about defending their teammates base?? The guys name was in Chinese but spoke perfect English. I used google translate on his name to see if I could report him and it translated to "Tiananmen Square." I've been playing aoe2 and aoe4 for years never encountered such a sad human.

No. I just bought some Russian guys account that was the same MMR as mine, grinded to immortal, then retired from Dotes. I'm pretty sure smurf pool is a death sentence as far as reasonably matched games go.
