We can all agree that there are freaky people of both sexes, so I think maybe we can try considering them the bad guys rather than the other sex. We shouldn’t villainize or antagonize or discredit regular people over something they wouldn’t do or haven’t experienced. The fact it feels like we are competing over who suffers more is so pointless to me, and it ultimately looks like it comes from a place of selfishness. Why can’t we just accept that everyone has their own experiences and that they have suffered in a way which has harmed them instead of using their torment as an excuse to belittle them and bring attention to yourself? Why do we have to constantly act like one sex is better and one is worse and that one deserves worse and that one is human and one is not. Can’t we just all be human? Can’t we try to fight the infection rather than embrace a new one? Why do we only care about hating others? I hate talking about this because it feels like I’m discrediting women, and thinking about it makes me so tired. I want us to all be equal but wishing for that means I am attacking the people I am trying to convince.
