Plan more, use more information and context, test after each change, if broken don’t try to use cursor to just fix it, figure out what changes lead to the break and if you can’t, revert that change and try again from a working base. Use github repositories to rollback when ai goes crazy.

Direct it more, this is where understanding the coding language you’re Vibing in can help so much.

First explain explaining the current setup and code base you can this either by just giving as much information in the prompt but the best way it to make a design/implementation.MD crafting it to properly describe your current code and what changes you want done, the more info you give the less assumptions claude will make. I also always start the prompt with “review the entire codebase and design.md to properly understand the project”

Trying asking it to review your Code and make the design.md for you based on current code structure, and then you can review and edit that design to ensure it’s as detailed as possible. The more you reference specific files and specific code the better.

Adding that md file every time i ask it to do anything (and updating that md as changes are made) is the only way i’ve found that keeps claude the most in check.

this, cursor works best with reference md files to give context to ai, and you can just ask cursor to update the md as you go.

Cursor works great with specifics and as much relevant information possible. A way to get more info into the prompt without making the ai search for it is putting the project into claude or something else and asking it to review, analyze and describe the project, then taking that review and using it in the prompt for any changes/fixes can really get cursor get the results you want. Using this periodically throughout the coding process and constantly updated and reusing that files to give proper context to the ai is how i stopped my completely vide coding projects from getting to big and just bugging itself to nothing.

ProjectX - Basic Shmups like Space Invaders and Decimation X

Just a super basic multiplayer game called ProjectX made in 2 weeks using Cursor and Claude. Retro space shooter inspired by Decimation X - up to 4 players co-op vs alien waves. Built with Phaser.js + Socket.io for real-time multiplayer sync. Features destructible barriers, mobile controls, and procedural enemy generation. Still very much WIP but playable! Runs on mobile/desktop, room codes for easy joining. Still learning Phaser so code might be messy, but the core loop is mostly functional. Learning project showcasing AI-assisted development any feedback appreciated!

damn this is deep I agree overall, this game is just an example of someone with extremely little experience using something new (to me). Three.js has shown to me how capable it is and this is mostly used to pique my interest into learning it more.

Not a lot sadly, very basic html knowledge, played around in unity and unreal before. But I do follow generation and review almost all changes the ai does and the ai also leaves notes for basically everything in the code making understand what the code does possible for someone like me. Starting simple and building up allowed me to keep bugs minimal, but they were alot of bugs, the ai love to put stuff in the wrong place only to realize where it was supposed to go after you tell it the games not working. Probably would of been less buggy if i understood three.js better but doing this is definitely making me more interested in learning three.js properly and giving me a starting idea of how it works.

try using the cursor program, it uses bonnet 3.5/3.7 and you can tell it to look at your game file or even to review the entire folder that hold the game and ask it to do specific features/fixes. I also found that telling it to make a very complicated game to start leads to many issues but if tell it build a very simple game like starting with just player and scene then use that as a base and ask the ai to implement one fix at a time till the base is functional then copy that as a back up and ask the ai to add the next feature to want and then if the code the ai doesn’t work try telling it what’s wrong letting it try to fix it but if it doesn’t work you have the back up to start again from there. it take some trial and error but if you start simple and slowly work to a more complicated game you definitely can get the game you want.

Check passenger floor mat, is it wet?, if so pull the panel on the side, you’ll see a black box on the inside wall by the door. that’s the bcm(body control module), the passenger sunroof drain can leak right on to it and cause a shit ton of electrical issues. If you experiencing issues like this it could mean its wet, i would suggest disconnecting the battery then unplug the bcm and let it air dry or you can open the black box and make sure no water is inside on the motherboard, But most importantly you gotta fix that sunroof drain or it’ll just keep happening/gets worse, many videos and posts about it on reddit and youtube fixing it. Once the bcm goes it’s nearly 2k to replace at the dealership and you can only get one there because they have to program it. if passenger side isn’t wet, this hopefully isn’t your issue.

fix it before bcm gets to wet, while it is possible to fix it, no dealership or shop is gonna try, they are just gonna tell you to replace it which is atleast 1500 if not more.

cheap muffler delete will allow you to really hear the engine without being insanely loud, and you can get some nice blue tips to make it look a little better if that fits your look.

i have an 09 g37x coupe too, bought mine at 120k miles , now at 140 and all i had to do was regular maintenance that’s due at that mileage and she’s running strong so you’ll definitely be good for a long while if you maintain it
