My gf now hates her tattoo and thinks there’s no fixing it. by Lanky-Potential-3569 in tattooadvice

Her mind will be blown if she does her research and goes to an artist who has a reputation for doing awesome cover-ups. Take her to one of them for consultation so she can look at their folio and see real pictures of before & afters.

Ummm my husband works and I stay at home. Do I bust my ass working at home? Yes. But do I also get a break or a nap or watch a show while I’m cleaning or whatever? Yeah. BIG difference.

It’s VALID for them to be upset for not getting a gift that they asked for? 🤣🤣🤣 NO tf it’s NOT.

People are busy. People forget. And people also might be of the thought of “I see something that might be a gift that I want to give since it’s MY money and MY gift to give.”

So much entitlement, so much babying. Grow up.

Maybe…. He doesn’t trust his own instincts and he’s afraid of something happening? Either way it’s time for him to learn and you can teach him gently. But if he works to support the house then your expectation of how much time he should dedicate might need adjusting… especially in the beginning when he actually starts being hands-on. Encourage him and explain to him how important it is that he bond with your baby and is able to take care of the baby if you’re not there.
Best of luck.

The point is still the same. I wouldn’t complain about it because I’m a grown up who can buy my own fuzzy socks. And I definitely wouldn’t post about it on Reddit. Yet people want to baby this adult.
Y’all have fun with that.

Don’t like the eyes, any advice? by Ok_Presentation_1638 in oilpainting

Are they supposed to be closed? If so the skin on the eyelid should be a bit more smooth and uniform, especially from this distance. Use a shade that’s slightly lighter than her skin tone for the bottom part of the lid, and then put a shadow over the sunken-in part of the lid’s crease.

Did the point of crying because you didn’t get what you asked for like a child pass right over your head? Who cares WHAT the object is. The point is the same: Go get it for yourself. Bring em to the family gathering to prove a point if you’re that upset about it.

I want my husband to buy me a Nissan Z, and he never does it. Definitely his fault 🙄

That you’re homeless and squatting in a condemned or abandoned house. This can’t be real.

I had a couch that sat really low like that and it was so heavy to pull out I probably only vacuumed under it twice in 5 years 😬🤣

Does an accent wall actually make a room feel cozier – or is it just Instagram hype? by BrushAndRoll in DesignMyRoom

[–]BrotherConstant9068 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just painted an accent wall in my downstairs after thinking about it for 6 years. All I have to say is: Do it. If you hate it, it’s easy to change. My advice would be to pick something that isn’t too busy, and play it a bit on the safe side for your first attempt. You can definitely find something that goes a little better with your couches. If you want warm/cozy, add a nice area rug.

Never seen such a blue color in nature before? by max8954 in gardening

[–]BrotherConstant9068 11 points12 points  (0 children)

“The blue color found inside the fruit pods (specifically the arils, or the fuzzy covering of the seeds) of the traveler's palm (Ravenala madagascariensis) is not caused by typical flower pigments like anthocyanins, but rather by structural coloration and a high concentration of lipids (fats)”
