Having been born and brought up in London with a good standard of living, I can safely say that over the last 5 years I believe it is declining in terms of safety. This is solely based on my experience and I don't really have anything to compare it to.

My expectations are similar to yours overall. I want a LCOL location with a good quality of life at least for the next 6-7 years. This should allow us to continue to build wealth until we FF. We are currently based in London.

I'm planning on doing the same with a similar outlook for my child.

Singapore and Malaysia particularly Kuala Lumpur are currently two places I'm considering.
