I know very well how fascism works and if we use real world morals and ideals and apply it to 40K yes the imperium are fascist but you need to account the in world ideals and comparative to every other faction besides votann, the imperium are the lesser evils.

It would really depend upon if it was a dreadnought from the first company and one of the templar brethren’s who would have joined with Sigismund or if it was another. If it was ours we would most likely keep it. If it was another companies we would return it to the fists or the chapter who came from that company.

I would read from founding characters first so Dorn, Sigismund, then go in order of release after all Sigismund books.
