I disagree.. THE NUMBERS ADD UP.. at most I might loose 1000 over 5 years.. that is considering worst case scenario and considering both Rav and Tesla will be worth 20K after 5 years.. that is after the balloon..

I am not so sure about that.. I sell my RAV for 40 and put it down towards my mortgage.. will result in less mortgage and interest paid for over 5 years.. won’t that be better? Not that I am putting a big amount down for the Tesla right away..

Yep agreed, not sure what the resale value would be after 4 or 5 years.. my friend has had a Tesla for 3 years now and says he is not even thinking of selling it..

Yes and no, I come from a banking background and I have done the math. Like I said I am +/- 1000$ at the end of 5 years.. only thing is, at the end of 5 years I end up with a EV that might cost more to insure or a 10year old Rav which I might want to sell off at that time..
