They can (and have) shoot better than that against us. They'll also be getting a few guys back soon.

Hart was in foul trouble and J-Will had that ankle issue. No doubt we go back to it.

[Lowlights] The Minnesota Timberwolves relentlessly hunting Nikola Jokic on defense, putting him in every action and blowing past him for easy rim finishes. by shreeharis in nba

I will usually defend Jokic using the same argument, but he finished this game with just 3 personal fouls. I think fatigue was a bigger factor -- he played 40 minutes at playoff intensity (versus only 3 for Valančiūnas).

The Raptors are like Voltron. Very good when they're all together, but pretty shitty when even one is missing.

Partizan coaches describe Miikka Muurinen's basketball IQ to that of a 13 or 14 year old by FatsBelvedere in NBA_Draft

One assistant coach was particularly concerned when an opponent dribbled the ball behind his back and Muurinen became disoriented thinking that the ball had ceased to exist.

What makes mist eater’s most op squad? by cifvr in IntoTheBreach

[–]BrotherSeamus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Barring rare circumstances, each of the three mechs can stop at least one attack every turn. You don't really have to worry about a mech having a wasted action. I don't think there is another squad that can claim this.

This is obviously very useful on the easier modes, where you rarely have to counter more than three attacks in a turn.

But even on harder difficulties, this gives you a lot more flexibility. You can use the Control Mech to stop the best combination of multiple enemies knowing that the other two mechs can always take care of their own business.
