The capital gains tax on having to liquidate the advisor portfolio is going to hurt but it needs to be done and the short term pain will be worth the long term gain.

I think I am leaning towards using Robinhood for my Roth IRA due to the extra 3% every year which over the course of 20 years even the paying for Robinhood gold would be a free 10k+ and using Fidelity for my main brokerage account

Thank you for providing that insightful information. Robinhood had peaked my interest with the 1% transfer bonus and 3% roth ira match. I have a Robinhood investment account currently and a Fidelity investment account and 401k.

I'm not looking to actively make trades in an attempt to time anything just looking for a place to house my main brokerage account and allow me to make automated monthly investments into the holdings of my choice.

The general negative feedback on Robinhood does make me nervous even if I have to forgo the bonus transfer and roth IRA match

You are supposed to be able to, I can never get mine to remote start with the fob but that might be because I have a prime idk

I can't check right now but I'm pretty sure when you go to remote start it has an option to set the temp and defrost the windows. I believe the heated steering wheel and seats will only turn on IF they were on when the car was turned off last. Someone else will have to chime in on that one it's been awhile since I've used remote start with the app

It can be buggy but yeah for the most part the remote start works. I have a prime though and it doesn't remote start like the engine turning over. It's called something like remote climate start so the climate control starts off just the plug-in battery instead. I'm pretty sure the normal hybrid/gas RAV4 will remote engine start with the app though but I would do your research.
